Abstract. The author considers the problem of the material support of Air Force schools and colleges of the Siberian Military District during the period of 1941-1945, basing on the analysis of archival documents shows that aviation military educational institutions of the Siberian Military District did not receive the required amount of material resources for implementing the high-quality training of aviation personnel, and tells that in order to staff the troops with qualified specialists under the conditions of the war aviation schools had to work at their maximum capacity.
