P. B. BALDANZHAPOV’S ASSESSMENT OF QING CHINA POLICY IN TUVA FROM THE XVII TH TILL THE XIX TH CENTURIES (BY MATERIAL OF THE MANUSCRIPT "TUVA UNDER THE YOKE OF THE MANCHU INVADERS")

Abstract. The author conducts the historiographical analysis of the outstanding Buryat scientist P. B. Baldanzhapov’s manuscript "Tuva under the Yoke of the Manchu Invaders", for the first time presents the comparative description of the manuscript author’s opinion and the opinions of other local researchers about the actual problems of studying the history of Tuva: "Uryankhai border issue", the period of establishing the Manchus’ political supremacy; and pays particular attention to the analysis of P. B. Baldanzhapov’s point of view on the questions of the administrative and resettlement policy of Qing China in Tuva.
