PROBLEMS OF DEFINING LEGAL NATURE OF WILL AS TRANSACTION

Abstract. The author reveals the characteristics of the will, researches the problems of defining the legal nature of the will as a particular type of the civil-legal transaction, sets the aim to reveal the specific of the will in the civil legislation of the Russian Federation in terms of the regulations extension of the scientific doctrine and the RF Civil Code about transactions, and comes to the conclusion that the unilateral nature of the wills in the Russian succession law is the result of the doctrine rather than the legal nature of the will.
