ATTITUDE TO DEATH IN SOCIAL-CULTURAL OBJECTIFICATIONS SYSTEM

Abstract. The authors show that the attitude to death, consolidated in the system of social-cultural objectifications (funeral traditions, ritual, symbol, message), is not only one of the form-generating and typological factors of contemporary cultural identity, but also an indicator of the situation, which is characterized by the tendency of the maximum taboo and displacement of death themes from the inter-life horizon of human existence.
