STRUCTURAL AND FUNCTIONAL CHANGES IN ACTIVITY OF STUDENTS’ UNITS FROM ASTRAKHAN' REGION IN THE 1990S

Abstract. The author analyzes the activity of students’ units regional headquarters at the end of the 1980s - 1990s, aimed at preserving youth movement in the region, for the first time introduces into scientific circulation the regional archives materials, reflecting the specificity of labour youth organizations management, shows students’ units activity in close connection with the political and social processes, which took place in the country, and by the example of Astrakhan' region emphasizes the major changes in the organizational structure and functions of students’ units during the first post-soviet decade.
