Abstract. The author considers the state of "here-and-now" as the beginning of philosophical reflection, tells that this beginning is taken not only as a theoretical notion, but as a fact of the philosopher’s personal reality, studies the factors preventing the return to beginning, pays attention to natural-scientific attitude and value identifications, and ascertains the place of philosophy and practical psychology in mastering the state of "here-and-now".
