Abstract. The author researches library as a social-cultural phenomenon from the perspective of fractal approach, states that the work is interdisciplinary in nature, sets the task to transfer the methodological apparatus of fractal analysis into the field of culturological reflection, introduces the notion of conceptual fractal into circulation, reveals and describes the specific geometric and conceptual forms of the external and internal fractality of library and books.
