DEVELOPMENT OF INTERACTION BETWEEN CENTRAL AND LOCAL EXECUTIVE AUTHORITIES IN POLAND

Abstract. The author analyzes the interaction between central and local executive authorities in Poland during the period from the beginning of the 1920s till nowadays, reveals the laws of the historical dynamics of such interaction, the identification of its political mechanisms, pays particular attention to the administrative reforms of the 1990-2000s, including the reform of local and regional administration system, and ascertains that the main instrument of regions empowerment was powers delegation.
