TEACHERS’ INSTITUTES OF THE BASHKIR AUTONOMOUS SOVIET SOCIALIST REPUBLIC AND THEIR ROLE IN PEDAGOGICAL PERSONNEL TRAINING IN THE 1930-1950S

Abstract. The formation and development of the teachers’ institutes of the Bashkir Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic in the 1930-1950s are for the first time considered in the article. The author believes that teachers’ institutes activity can’t be considered in isolation from the soviet state national policy, as they were entrusted with the task of national personnel accelerated training in concordance with nativization plans. It is proved on archival materials basis that these educational establishments implemented the mission and made a large contribution to culture and education increase among the Republic population.
