RESISTANCE TO SEPARATISM: INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE AND METHODS

Abstract. The article studies the problems associated with the manifestations of separatism at the present stage, and highlights the main methods of dealing with it. The author emphasizes the role of international community in resistance to separatism and territorial conflicts prevention. The conclusion is made that when resisting separatism one should first try to use non-violent political methods, and stability in the country can only be achieved in compliance with the principle of social justice regardless the region of residence.
