MATERIAL AND SPIRITUAL CULTURE OF MORDOVIANS FROM RYBNOE DISTRICT OF RYAZAN REGION

Abstract. For the first time the article describes and systematizes historical-ethnographic, field and statistical material about the Mordovians living in Rybnoe district of Ryazan region. The dynamics, size estimation, reasons and stages of the Mordovians’ resettlement to the region under consideration are shown. As a result of the review it is determined that traditions in the material and spiritual culture of the Mordovian population in Rybnoe district of Ryazan region remain the same in activities, occupations, cooking, holidays and ritual actions.
