Abstract. The article considers anonymity as a political post-materialist value typical of cyberculture. The subjective and objective types of anonymity and their connection with the political regime are determined. The character of anonymity influence on the construction of identities and the revision of the phenomenon of political is revealed. The phenomenon of erasing the boundaries between private and public spheres is considered. The shifts in the perception of anonymity as a value conditioned by the development of Web 2.0 technologies are identified. The phenomenon of narcissism as a new value of the Internet is considered.
