Abstract. The article analyzes regional musical art formation in the course of education and enlightenment development. The author pays main attention to enlightenment understanding as the effective mechanism of social reproduction forming the personality as the product and consumer of regional community culture. The analysis of regional education and enlightenment formation process allowed the author substantiating her own conception of regional musical art genesis.
