CHARITY OF MONASTIC PATIENTS IN VYATKA AND PERM MONASTERIES IN THE XVIII TH CENTURY

Abstract. The article by the example of Vyatka and Great Perm eparchy analyzes the question of monastic patients and the elderly maintenance in the XVIII th century that has not been previously studied in historiography. The history of creating hospitals in monasteries, the impact of the state legislation on this process, the conditions of clergymen accommodation in hospitals are considered. The question of constructing special hospital premises and "hospital" churches in monasteries is analyzed.
