TOLERANCE IN TRADITIONAL CULTURE OF THE DAGESTANIS

Abstract. The article considers the factors that influenced the formation of the mentality of the Dagestanis: natural and climatic conditions, the features of historical development, Jamaat management system, Islam. The author studies the features of mentality, traditions and customs that contributed to the acquisition of tolerance by the Dagestanis. They include hospitality, multilingualism, and seasonal work. The author considers relevant to educate the younger generation of the Dagestanis by the examples of the traditional tolerance of their ancestors.
