PARADOX OF MIND: LUTHER, ERASMUS AND DISPUTE ABOUT FREE WILL

Abstract. The article is devoted to the understanding of the paradox of mind as one of the "open" problems of philosophy. This problem is associated with the question of correlation between faith and knowledge, and is considered by the example of the famous dispute about free will between Martin Luther and Erasmus of Rotterdam. The main idea of ??the article is the thesis on the need to recognize the "extra theoretical" grounds of mind as a prerequisite of thought strictness.
