A. L. BLOK’S CONTRIBUTION TO DEVELOPMENT OF SOCIAL POSITIVISM SCHOOL IN RUSSIAN POLITICAL SCIENCE

Abstract. The article is devoted to the analysis of the creative legacy of Aleksandr L'vovich Blok –talented political scientist, professor and dean of the law faculty of Imperial University of Warsaw, philosopher, founder of Warsaw school of sociological positivism in the Russian pre-revolutionary political science, father of Russian poet A. A. Blok. The paper studies A. L. Blok’s views on state and law, which feature was an attempt to give them a social-political explanation, to determine the role of social factors in the formation of the political organization of power.
