PHILOSOPHICAL AND AESTHETIC BASIS OF KOREAN LANDSCAPE PAINTING SANSUKHVA OF JOSEON ERA (1392-1910)

Abstract. For the first time in the Russian art criticism the article presents the analysis of the philosophical aspects and artistic-aesthetic traditions of the Korean landscape painting sansukhva, which reveals the meaning of notions and terms basic to the Far Eastern landscape painting "mountains – waters". The result of the study is the conclusion that Joseon landscape should be considered as a complex artistic phenomenon, which is distinguished by philosophical depth and aesthetic richness and can play an important role in the landscape tradition of the Far East.
