CONTRAFACTUM IN FOLK TRADITION OF THE VOLGA-URAL TATARS: TO RESEARCH METHODOLOGY OF QUANTITATIVE MUSICAL-POETIC FORMS

Abstract. The article considers the principles of correlation between music and words in the examples of the Tatar folklore. The rhythmic perspective of the problem vision carries it into the context of the patterns of quantitative musical-poetic art, where music acts as a "means of auding" of the poetic word (as opposed to the modern European composers’ music as "sounds art"). It determines methodological guidelines in the questions of interrelation between music and poetry in the Tatar folk song, explaining the phenomenon of their frequently "paradoxical" emotional inconsistency.
