GNOSEOLOGICAL GROUNDS OF V. ROZANOV’S THINKING STYLE

Abstract. The article reveals the content of the notion "thinking style". This term, which appeared in the philosophy of science, is for the first time applied to V. V. Rozanov’s creativity, whose works revealed the crisis of science and culture on the whole. In order to determine Rozanov’s thinking style and theoretical grounds, the author compares his recent works with the first book "On Understanding", in which his gnoseological system was expressed. This book is associated with subsequent creative works by Rozanov’s internal position in relation to the possibility of cognition and the articulation of the known expressed in it, and also consolidates the conception of personal knowledge.
