Abstract. The article considers the initial stages of implementing the program of broadcast networks construction in Yakutia: the formation of radio transmitting and radio receiving broadcast network, the promotion of radio-amateurishness ideas and the emergence of the first radio stations with the beginning of the industrial development of the Republic. In addition, the formation of rural radio communication, and the use of telegraph and telephone networks during broadcast networks development are traced basing on archival materials.
