RECURSIVENESS AS PROPERTY OF DREAMS AND INTENTIONAL STATES

Abstract. The article reveals the content of the notion "recursiveness", widely used in mathematics, logic, linguistics, as applied to dreams and other intentional states. During consciousness states research a number of common inherent properties of all consciousness states including self-referencing, isomorphism, intentionality, subjectivity are revealed. The article suggests enlarging this list with the property of recursiveness. The author pays attention to the research potential of the notion "recursiveness" application to a variety of the altered states of consciousness.
