Abstract. Kuibyshev archbishop Aleksii (Palitsyn)’s office activity during the Great Patriotic War and the first post-war years is analyzed on the basis of archival sources, the office work nomenclature is reconstructed, the facts characterizing archbishop Aleksii’s personal involvement in the office work are given. Practically all the presented data taken from Samara Diocesan Archive materials are published for the first time.
