Abstract. The article covers the main stages of the jubilee social-cultural project "Lutherdekade" (Germany) designed to promote the actualization of the best humanistic ideas and achievements of the German Reformation in the modern world, as well as to attract the world’s attention to the axiosphere of Protestantism and its cultural and artistic heritage. Within the framework of the project active measures for the restoration and popularization of history, culture and art monuments are carried out; numerous exhibitions, concerts, conferences are organized; radio and television programs are broadcast; books and journals are published.
