GENDER PROBLEMATIC AND FEMINISM IN VIRGINIA WOOLF’S CREATIVE WORKS

Abstract. By the material of V. Woolf’s essays and novels the author considers her attitude to female education, marriage, the problem of the professional realization of women, and reveals the features of feminist discourse transmission in her works (gender stereotypes overcoming by the idea of consciousness androgyny, the statement of the significance of "female" home reality sphere), and the factors that influenced her views on gender issues (the biography of the writer, the views of her environment, the social-political situation of her era).
