PROCESS OF MUSLIMS URBANIZATION IN VYATKA PROVINCE IN THE SECOND HALF OF THE XIX TH – THE BEGINNING OF THE XX TH CENTURY

Abstract. The author discusses the process of urban stratum forming among the Muslims of Vyatka province in the second half of the XIX th – the beginning of the XX th century, reveals in dynamics the Muslims migration to cities, shows the percentage of the Muslims with respect to the residents of the province, and also singles out their part among urban population during different periods of the second half of the XIX th – the beginning of the XX th century, and ascertains the names of some Muslims-householders in Vyatka, Malmyzh, Elabuga, Glazov, Kotel'nich, Sarapul, Slobodskoi.
