ECUMENICAL ASPECTS OF MISSION (CATHOLIC APPROACH TO ECUMENICAL MOVEMENT CRISIS OVERCOMING)

Abstract. The author considers the history of the interaction between mission and ecumenism, the reasons of missionary activity empowering with ecumenical aspects, reveals the foundations of the cooperation between missionary work and ecumenism under the conditions of the modern crisis of faith, by the example of the Catholic Church demonstrates the foundations of the deep connection between mission and ecumenism, and comes to the conclusion that the cooperation with other Christian Churches and church communities in mission is perceived by Catholic Church as a method for ecumenical movement crisis overcoming in particular and the crisis of faith in general.
