SEX AND AGE COMPOSITION OF POPULATION AND MARRIAGE RATE IN DAGESTAN: HISTORICAL-DEMOGRAPHIC ASPECT (THE 90S OF THE ХIХ TH CENTURY – THE 30S OF THE ХХ TH CENTURY)

Abstract. The author analyzes the factors of number increasing and changes in population’s sex and age composition, the state of marriage rate in social, religious and national aspects in Dagestan at the end of the XIX th – the beginning of the XX th century, considers the creation of new normative-legal framework by the soviet government in the sphere of marriage and family, and characterizes the activity of power structures in the multinational region on making changes in marriage and family relations in the 20s – 30s of the ХХ th century.
