Abstract. The author discusses the problem of time understanding as an epistemological category, shows that after Kant's philosophy such view on time was relatively little studied in philosophical literature, and it conditions the scientific novelty of the topic, which is considered in the article; presents the views on chronological problematic within the framework of ontology, epistemology and, to a greater degree, - of philosophical anthropology, and reveals the problems of chronological reflection, existence, the possibility of knowledge and the historical-philosophical peculiarities of the problems range formation of the category time.
