Abstract. The author considers the system of crimes against state fixed by the Criminal Code of 1903, presents the classification of crimes against state developed by Russian lawyers at the turn of the XIXth-XXth centuries, and comes to the conclusion that the legislator developed the system of crimes against state corresponding to the political development of Russia of the beginning of the XXth century.
