Abstract. The author disputes the objections raised by P. Feyerabend against the principle of scientific knowledge consistency as the compulsory norm of science, specifies the significance of this principle for scientific knowledge consisting in the fact that contradictions identification first and foremost should not be used for the victory over opponents as the author of epistemological anarchism affirms, but for the acquiring of more in-depth and substantiated knowledge, and shows that the effect of this principle cannot be refuted by the existence of non-classical logics.
