Abstract. The author studies the restriction of workers' right to organize strikes by the authorities during the First World War (1914 - February 1917), and analyzes the influence of the situation with state-guaranteed orders implementation, and the cases of unreasonable strikes on state policy, as well as the influence of left-wing radical organizations activity on the authorities' actions in relation to strikes.
