IDENTIFICATION AS PERSON'S ABILITY TO POSSESS SOCIAL BELONGING CHARACTERISTICS

Abstract. The author presents two models of a person's identification with a social group (G. Simmel's and E. Durkheim's models), describes the community relations between actors specific to each model, and pays particular attention to the category of possession, by which community relations become the facts of individual consciousness and determine identification process specificity.
