DIASPORAS IN SOUTHERN REGIONS OF RUSSIA: FORMATION TENDENCIES AND PROSPECTS

Abstract. The author reveals the logic of diasporas formation and development in the southern regions of Russia, their internal structure, problems facing them, substantiates that it is necessary to use such possibilities as the active work of diaspora organizations and homeland support for the sustainable existence of diasporas as a rightful subject of society, and mentions that efforts should be made to solve existing problems, such as local society's negative attitude, splits and conflicts within diasporas.
