FOREST YUKAGIRS' MODERN SONG FOLKLORE: CONTENT AND EXISTENCE FEATURES

Abstract. The author presents the characteristics of the forest Yukagirs' modern song folklore genres, describes its subject matter and content, and shows that the Yukagirs' folklore song tradition comprises love songs, songs about lost youth and lullabies. At the end of the XXth - the beginning of the XXIst century songs - dedications to ancestral places and caressing songs for children were fixed. Today folklore songs existence specificity is associated with the understanding of the Yukagirs' disappearing language and culture preservation problem.
