Abstract. The author researches Marxism cognitive features as the methodology of political phenomena and processes study and conducts the analysis of the distinctive characteristics of Marxist politics cognition methodology. The consistent study of the authentic Marxist theory helps the author to come to the conclusion about its significant opportunities in the sphere of modern politics cognition.In this connection the author states the idea about the necessity of considering Marxism as the theory equal to the main political science paradigm.
