EXTREMISTS - SUICIDE MURDERERS AND KAMIKAZE: PHILOSOPHICAL DISCOURSE OF SUICIDAL ACTIONS

Abstract. The author presents the philosophical analysis of suicidal extremist actions, demonstrates that extremism is characterized by attraction to death, but this particular feature cannot be regarded as a kind of mental disorder, shows that extremism as a withdrawn suicide form is possible only in case of violence elimination by mind in power discourse, death role and place in a subject's worldview rethinking, death transformation from a negative to a positive value, and substantiates these ideas by conducting the comparative analysis of extremists' worldview with the worldview of kamikaze of the World War II demonstrating that kamikaze's suicide actions are the consequence of death content and meaning changes under the influence of samurai ideas expressed in power rational discourse.
