Abstract. The author considers the features of synergetics methodological potential connected primarily with the research of open systems and order and chaos correlation in them, analyzes the specifics of synergetic approach to understanding a man as a hierarchal non-equilibrium system, sex and gender role in this system, and discusses the problem of sex and gender transformation in modern society, their opportunities and risks.
