DEATH OF LABOUR: POSTMODERN REFLECTION AND REALIAS

Abstract. The author studies the problem of labour ideas transformation in postmodern reflection and mass consciousness, pays special attention to the conception work - game which is stated in postmodern philosophy and should replace productive labour that allows to conclude death of labour and its replacement with creative, enjoyable activity; and shows that mass consciousness in consumer society modifies the idea of labour playing character into the idea of labour without any effort, which entails the loss of work ethic values.
