NUCLEAR DETERRENCE IN RUSSIAN-AMERICAN RELATIONS WITHIN NON-PROLIFERATION PROCESSES FRAMEWORK

Abstract. The author considers the conception of nuclear deterrence within the framework of non-proliferation processes, pays special attention to the spheres of the collaboration between Russia and the USA in the field of strategic stability strengthening, and also refers to the acute problem of the contemporary Russian-American relations - the question regarding the deployment of the USA missile defense system in Europe.
