Abstract. The author discusses the main positions of the theonomous ethics of love of one of the Russian philosophy outstanding representatives of the first half of the XXth century N. O. Losskii, and considers N. O. Losskii's ethical doctrine as an organic part of his philosophical system, based on intuitionism in gnoseology, ideal-realism in metaphysics, where the world is understood as an organic whole, and natural and social are included in the single process of the world development.
