Abstract. The author discusses the questions of the construction, putting into operation and functioning of a super-power radio station within Kuibyshev region during The Great Patriotic War, basing on archival materials reveals the problems that the soviet authorities encountered during the construction of the station in this region, and shows the main directions of its activity under the extreme conditions of the war.
