TATAR PROFESSIONAL SONG GENRE ORIGIN AND FORMATION

Abstract. The author considers the specificity of the Tatars' professional song origin and formation, reveals that social-political changes in the country life were the catalyst for these processes, and gave rise to the creation of national cultural-enlightening organizations, activated the study and propaganda of the Tatar song folklore, which served as the foundation for a new, professional song, determines the role of professional composers, musicians-amateurs, and poets in the development of this genre, and pays special attention to the creativity of the first Tatar composer S. Gabyashi.
