LIBERALISM IDEOLOGICAL ESSENCE DETERMINATION PROBLEM

Abstract. The author considers the main approaches to the ideological essence of liberalism, states the inadequacy of the existing approaches for its revelation, formulates the author's approach to the definition of liberalism ideological essence, affirms that liberalism ideological essence is not an idea, but a problem - the problem of determining the boundaries of individual freedom on the one hand, and state intervention - on the other, and tells that liberalism ideological essence varies depending on how this problem is solved under different historical circumstances.
