STYLISTIC FEATURES OF CHORAL GENRE OF SMALL FORMS IN KABARDINO-BALKARIA COMPOSERS' CREATIVE WORKS (TO PROBLEM OF COMPOSER AND FOLKLORE)

Abstract. The author considers some theoretical aspects of the Kabardians and Balkarians' traditional folklore implementation in Kabardino-Balkaria composers' works in the choral genre of small forms, reveals the stylistic features of the traditional solo-group manner of polyphonic performance, as well as tonality formation, melodic pattern and metrorhythm in professional composers' choral works, and pays special attention to the analysis of the choral accompaniment partezh'u based on developed bourdon polyphony and its original interpretation in author's creative works.
