LINGUISTIC DETERMINATION OF PHILOSOPHICAL THOUGHT FEATURES IN BYZANTIUM

Abstract. The author considers the Greek language role in the processes of philosophical thought formation and development in the Byzantine Empire taking into consideration the interconnection of language and culture, and tells that the research of the linguistic determination of the Byzantine philosophy features allows revealing the typological specificity, uniqueness and cultural-historical significance of Byzantine thinkers' intellectual heritage.
