Abstract. The author describes the development of the collaboration between Russia and North-East Asia countries in humanitarian sphere at the end of the XXth - the beginning of the XXIst century, reveals the contractual-legal framework of humanitarian interaction, providing cooperation in the sphere of culture, education, science and health care service, considers the degree of collaboration intensity with The People's Republic of China, Japan, The Republic of Korea, The Democratic People's Republic of Korea, and determines the role of humanitarian connections in the process of the cooperation between Russia and North-East Asia countries.
