MECHANISM OF VISUAL INFORMATION ENCODING IN WORKS OF ARTISTIC CULTURE

Abstract. The author considers the historical variability of the visuality mechanisms of reality representation in artistic culture, describes the historical types of visuality in art, conducts the culturological analysis of visual transformations character in the artistic picture of the world of modernism and postmodernism, tells that the visual turn, reflected in the texts of artistic culture in the second half of the ХХth century, finds correspondence to the phenomenon of arrangement as the property of the second modeling system; and reveals the features typical of new visual thinking.
