Abstract. The author puts forward the theory of two cycles of value systems: the cycle of absolutization and the cycle of deabsolutization, tells that the cycle of absolutization is generally understood as global changes in the axiosphere of culture that occurred in the Axial Age, when the transition from myth to logos, from polytheism to monotheism, from national religions to world ones started, and the cycle of deabsolutization is understood as nothing else but the secularization of culture, which entailed the transition from traditional to liberal values; and as a result formulates the single, in essence, universalist scheme of the Eurasian major value systems development.
