Abstract. The author considers the features of urban everyday life by means of cognitive method, defines the notion and structure of urban everyday life, tells that the model of Russian cities everyday life includes economic, social-cultural, administrative-political and ecological factors, and mentions that the research is oriented at the social-philosophical analysis of urban identity features, urban communication practices and other modern tendencies of urban life.
